L'Equipe de Maison d'être (MÊTRE) is a group of independent professionals — urban planners, creative writers and filmmakers. MÊTRE's current mission is to use the documentary as an investigative comprehension tool to discover pivot points of contemporary urban life in the context of urban renewal and regeneration campaigns.

We do not associate ourselves with any formal institution although each of us may have some individual projects and assignments beyond MÊTRE's scope.
